This has to be the easiest and the fastest (yet nicest) gift to make and give! Use a mason jar or any jar you have or find. The dollar store is a good place to look! This gift would pair nicely with a bottle of the essential oil used to scent it, bath scrubs or foot soak. Maybe throw in some bath bombs into a gift basket and you are done!
Here are some other scent suggestions: Uplifting: Peppermint, Citrus Fresh Relaxing: Lavender, Roman Chamomile Stress reliever: Stress-Away Stress Away and Orange is like Creamsicle!!!
You will need:
- Sea Salt - fine or coarse {Amazon link}
- Baking Soda {Amazon link}
- Epson Salt {Amazon link}
- 4 drops Young Living Lavender essential oil
- Glass jar - like this {Amazon link} or this {Amazon link}
Instructions
The recipe is very simple. Fill half your jar with Epson salt. Then fill 1/4 of the jar with sea salt and the other 1/4 with baking soda. Mix in the desired amount of your favorite Young Living essential oil and mix well. I use about 5 drops of Lavender essential oil for every 4 ounces of bath salts made.
Fun idea - Peppermint bath salts: In a jar, layer pink Himalayan salt {Amazon link} with the recipe above, scented with peppermint. It will look like a candy cane!
