Day 36 Loving YL - Burnt Smell Gone with Purification

There is no worse smell than that of burning plastic! A plastic straw fell onto the heating element in our dishwasher and started to burn. Phew-we!!! I'm now diffusing Purification essential oil to rid my kitchen of that awful smell.

Day 32 Loving YL - Diffusing essential oils with the Bamboo Diffuser

Diffusing essential oils is one of the ways in which you can use essential oils. Not only do they smell amazing, but you are actually getting the benefits from inhaling the oils as well. Make sure you are using an ionic diffuser that does not heat up the essential oils. This is my bamboo Diffuser by Young Living, which is one of my favorite diffusers. It has a timer to set the run time at 1 or 4 hours.

Today I'm diffusing Thieves essential oil. Thieves is a blend of Clove, lemon, cinnamon, Eucalyptus radiata and rosemary. Not only is Thieves one of my favorite essential oil smells, but it complements my new favorite Teavana tea that I'm drinking in my new Teavana dragon tea pot.

Day 27 Loving YL - Diffusing for an uplifting mood

My uplifting mood combo for today: Lemon, Bergamot and Ravintsara. Nice!

Lemon (Citrus limon) has a strong, purifying, citrus scent that is revitalizing and uplifting. Lemon consists of 68 percent dlimonene, a powerful antioxidant. It is delightfully refreshing in water and may be beneficial for the skin. Lemon may also be used to enhance the flavor of foods. Lemon essential oil is cold-pressed from the rinds of lemons.

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) has the fresh, sweet, citrus scent that is familiar to many as the flavoring in Earl Grey Tea. Uplifting and relaxing, it is good for building confidence and enhancing your mood. It has a long history of use for oily and troubled skin.

Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora) has a spicy, camphorous, warm scent, similar to eucalyptus but softer. The people of Madagascar hold it in high regard.

Day 20 Loving YL - Diffusing Purification and Thieves essential oils

After all the rain yesterday, my house feels musky. I'm diffusing Purification essential oil to help purify the air and get rid of the musky smell. I added Thieves because I not only love the smell of Thieves essential oil, but Thieves helps with so many things, you can't go wrong! Not to mention the smell combination of Purification and Thieves is really pleasant.

Day 15 Loving YL - Diffusing Orange and Cinnamon Bark EO's

Today I'm Diffusing Orange and Cinnamon Bark essential oils in my Young Living Aroma Diffuser. No particular reason except I really love this relaxing smell combo! Reminds me of fall and Thanksgiving. I'm really for this Texas heat to be over with and cooler weather to come.

Cinnamon Bark essential oil promotes a healthy immune response, and helps maintain a healthy lifestyle regimen*. Cinnamon has been used traditionally for thousands of years as a spice, and provides a spicy and delicious addition when cooking or baking. This oil includes the naturally occurring constituent cinnamaldehyde, and is an important ingredient in many Young Living products including Thieves®, Abundance™, and Inner Defense™.

Orange (Citrus sinesis) essential oil includes the naturally occurring constituent limonene. Orange is also a wonderful addition to enhance the flavor of many foods and drinks.
