Day 18 Loving YL - Toddler Teething Relief

Toddler Teething Relief with Clove and Copaiba Essential oil Young Living for inflammation and pain

There is not one, but TWO teething monsters in my home! Today it was my toddler who was having the most trouble. He was drooling like a big hound dog and chewing on his fingers. To ease his mouth pain, I rubbed some of my magic toddler friendly non-toxic teething cream all around his mouth and gums. And as you can see from the picture, he helped as well. Not only for toddlers, adults can use this magic numbing cream for any mouth pain and/or soreness.

To make this cream, I start with about a teaspoon of coconut oil and put it into a small container. I add 5 drops of Copaiba and 15 drops of Clove essential oils. Since this is going in the mouth and can be ingested, I only recommend using Young Living essential oils. Stir it up then test in your own mouth. Give it a few seconds and see if you feel it needs to be stronger. The Copaiba will help with the inflammation while the clove will numb the tooth and gums. Store the rest for later.

Copaiba is a powerful essential oil from South America that has traditionally been used to aid digestion and support the body's natural response to injury or irritation. Copaiba contains the highest amounts of beta caryophyllene (55 percent) of any known essential oil.

Clove essential oil has a sweet, spicy fragrance that is stimulating and revitalizing. An important ingredient in our Thieves blend due to its wonderful immune-enhancing properties, its principal constituent is eugenol, which is used in the dental industry to numb the gums. Clove is the highest-scoring single ingredient ever tested for its antioxidant capacity on the ORAC scale. Always dilute for topical use. Clove may also be used to enhance the flavor of foods.

Day 8 Loving YL - Copaiba Vanilla Moisturizing Shampoo

Copaiba Vanilla Moisturizing Shampoo by Young Living - Diaper Rash Cream

Between my obsessive nightly washing of my hair and bad genes, my hair is dry. Really dry. Since I can only use fragrance free shampoo and conditioners, my selection is limited. I've been using Origins for the past 7 years. It is alright, I like it - but I don't LOVE it. It is not made for dry hair. I've been wanting to try the Young Living Copaiba Vanilla Moisturizing Shampoo for some time now. Finally I ordered some and started using it last week. I LOVE it! My hair feels amazing! My hair is more moisturized and softer than before. I am one of those OCD people that only like to try one new product at a time, so I haven't used the conditioner yet. I figured I give the shampoo a full week of use before I add that. I'll let you know how it goes, but I'm sure it will be amazing as well. I love the light fresh scent of the shampoo. Besides the copaiba and vanilla essential oils, it contains lime essential oil, which I can smell as well.

Plant-based, safe and environmentally responsible, Copaiba Vanilla Moisturizing Shampoo is a rich hydrating cleanse for dry or damaged hair.

Day 3 Loving YL - EO's for Massage

Lavender and Melrose by Young Living - Diaper Rash Cream

Being sick on vacation, then coming home with a sick baby from vacation sucked! So today I needed a vacation from my vacation! I finally got a relaxing massage thanks to my amazing massage therapist! Like always, I brought my essential oils for her to mix into her massage oil base. This is my standard trio that I bring with me. After the massage I felt relaxed and energized both at the same time. And smelled great!

Lemon (Citrus limon) essential oil includes the naturally occurring constituent limonene. Lemon may also be used to enhance the flavor of foods.

Copaiba essential oil may promote wellness, and can be an important part of a daily health regimen*. This oil includes the naturally occurring constituents beta-caryophyllene and alpha-humulene, and can be mixed with honey and warm water for a warming, essential oil-infused tea.

Thieves essential oil is an amazing blend essential oils for immune support.
